Marching Clox

from Moon Gear by Basic Printer

/

about

The Clox army is a mass of mechanized programmable clocks that do the bidding of King Tock. It's a controversy among residences as to why they exist, because they could easily be manipulated.

lyrics

We are marching clocks, we march for you
Because we don’t know what to do
And we will get there just in time
And you will finally realign

We crush the blocks and obstacles
To get to the great spectacles
Of lands that are lost and forgone!
We claim them and stake them in our name

We are the marching clocks.
Raise your spears, the pleas of our people knock!
We’re put together like clockwork.
Tinkering, conquering, enemies are sure to avert!

We can step in time it’s just not real
The way we’re always toe to heel
You’d think we might just miss a step
But I assure you we never are misled

Turning, ticking, little arms and hands
We’re wondering, wandering, different lands
Until we find something to use
Why not consider joining the crew?

We are the marching clocks!
Raise your spears, the pleas of our people knock!
We’re put together like clockwork!
Tinkering, conquering, enemies are sure to avert!
